MESSAGE FROM THE CEO
COVID – 19 has had a massive impact on all of our lives, both professionally and personally. This pandemic has forced us to adapt quickly and install change. The way that we work and communicate has affected everybody in the same manner across all industries, from small businesses to global brands. The one thing that we are heavily reliant on is technology, how we utilize it to connect to our customers, colleagues and partners.
As the demand has increased for businesses to support their employees working from home, we have seen a shortage of supply in the IT channel. Limited stock, longer lead times and no availability have resulted in us looking for alternative solutions to help match clients’ requirements. We are slowly seeing improvements where the market is catching up with the demand, but those effects may continue for a while. Our business is working tirelessly to combat these challenges so we can eliminate as many hurdles as possible to support our clients.
I am grateful to my team for their dedication and the work ethic they’ve shown in these challenging times. I know it’s not been easy, but their unity and desire to support each other and our customers has been outstanding.
It is also an exciting time for our business. We welcomed two new members into our team this week, Ben Mason and Aldan Oberholzer, to bolster our marketing activities and drive our sales force. I look forward to meeting them both in person soon.
It is important to stay positive in this situation, to keep active and stay healthy, to set ourselves targets and goals. We have experienced and seen the incredible kindness and respect that we have for one another in this difficult situation.
I hope all our customers, partners, suppliers and their families are safe, and I thank them for their continued support.
